MDS - Delivering Vocational Training

How are qualifications delivered in the workplace?

All trainers and assessors that work for MDS come from manufacturing backgrounds and have amassed considerable manufacturing skills, they are able to empathise with employers and can provide flexible work-based training programmes that consider the importance of hectic company production schedules. MDS fully understands the pressures on companies and will work with them to ensure that all training delivered is flexible, convenient and at an appropriate time and pace for both employers and employees.

Assessors are also able to recognise employee’s skills-gaps and use their own experience to deliver effective, very flexible, non-prescriptive training programmes. The majority of MDS’ assessment team are also multi-lingual and can therefore deliver training in a variety of community languages. MDS’ targets are simple – every candidate who enrols on a first full NVQ Level 2 will receive whatever support is necessary to ensure successful achievement.
